Cleansers are the first step in your twice-daily skin care routine. It is essential to remove grime, makeup, pollution, built up dead skin cells or excess oil in order for your skin to function effectively. Applying anything such as moisturiser or makeup to your bare skin without first cleansing is a big no-no!

Cleansers come in a few different forms - creamy lotions (usually best for Normal to Dry or Dehydrated skin), foaming gels (usually best for Normal to Oily or Combination skin), compress oils (especially good for any skin type that is experiencing inflammation, congestion or blemishes), or solid cleansing bars (tailored to different skin types, often convenient for travelling). Most cleansers need to be rinsed off the face with water, with the exception of makeup remover - always read the directions.
